Esker Beauty products were inspired by our founder’s search for plant-based bath products when she was pregnant with her first child. Shannon was surprised to find few options that were natural, organic, and used high quality ingredients that delivered real results.
As a passionate bath person and seasoned trend forecaster in fashion and beauty, Shannon realized there was a real need to develop a product that gives women access to affordable, luxury bath and body products. And she set out to solve that problem while developing a brand that has a positive impact on women and the planet.
Esker Body Oils are super powered with CO2 Extraction
Traditionally, essential oils are derived using steam distillation, a process that yields a concentrated pure plant liquid. By contrast, a supercritical extraction - like a CO2 extraction - occurs from a process where pressurized gas dissolves the natural components of the plant into a liquid format. This process saves the oils from the deteriorating effects of heat.
CO2 oil extracts are incredibly potent and pure, having never been exposed to chemicals or heat. We use the supercritical extraction method in the production of our body oils to ensure that your skin is receiving the purest, most potent oils available that go the extra mile in hydrating and nourishing skin.
Every Oil Has a Purpose
Hero Oils are the star ingredient in each of our formulas. Our Hero Oils were chosen for their powerful skincare benefits, and each formula was created around an oil with benefits that target a specific body skin type. and each has a subtle, spa-like scent that adds to the self care experience.
Our Firming Oil relies on Juniper as its Hero Oil. Juniper helps to reduce water retention and promotes cell regeneration. Juniper also acts as a natural toner and soothes skin blemishes to reveal smoother, softer skin.
Our Restorative Oil is anchored by antioxidant-packed Hero Oil, Carrot Seed, which is a powerful nutritive oil that soothes irritated skin and can help reverse cellular damage from environmental stressors like the sun. Carrot seed absorbs into the skin easily, reduces signs of aging, and leaves the skin vibrant from the inside out.
Our Clarifying Oil leans on Cypress as its Hero Oil to tone the skin and treat discoloration. Cypress helps to move fluids throughout the body and promotes circulation for a more even and glowing skin tone. Cypress is known for its stimulating properties and acts as a natural brightener for the skin.

Essential oils that are appropriate for use on the skin are mixed with carrier oils to ensure the essential oils are able to deliver their powerful nutrients to the skin gently and effectively.
