BODY CARE 101 | MEET THE RITUALS

Exfoliate

Ancient Greeks and Romans knew how to cleanse skin after a long day. Our exfoliating Body Plane is inspired by strigils, a tool once used in bathhouses for head-to-toe oil cleansing.

This centuries-old technique is reimagined for modern body-care rituals: Our Body Plane features a blunt, colloidal sterling silver edge to gently remove dead skin and everyday dirt, revealing skin that is soothed and smoothed. The best part, though? You only need to use it once per week, no refills or plastic waste necessary.

Restorative Body Wash - Esker

Body Wash

Strigils existed before traditional body wash—and luckily, we now have both. Our Body Wash is a hydrating, plant-based body cleanser that can be used daily, enhancing the once-per-week exfoliation you'll get from the Body Plane.

For our ritual, you'll first rinse off using one of our skin-nourishing washes, preparing your body for a deeper clean.

Restorative Oil - Esker

Body Oil

There is no Body Plane without our Body Oil. Our signature product is crafted from squalane, avocado oil, and evening primrose oil, and is created to be applied to skin right after you get out of the shower or bath.

The slick surface allows the Body Plane to glide over skin, removing dead skin cells while enveloping your body in nutrient-rich oil.

Once you're oiled up, use medium to strong pressure to glide the Body Plane over damp skin, moving towards the torso. Scrape away dead skin and dirt with long, steady, upward strokes on arms and legs, maintaining a moderate pressure. Wipe the Body Plane clean as needed with a fresh cotton cloth or tissue. Use softer pressure and shorter strokes on more delicate areas, such as your chest, torso, and neck. Feel the glow begin.

FAQ

Does it remove hair?

No, the Body Plane shouldn't remove body hair any more than a regular body tool, exfoliator, or wash cloth.

Can I use it in the bath or shower?

Don’t use it in the bath. We know it sounds nice to exfoliate while you soak, but the Body Plane shouldn't be submerged. We recommend using it post-shower or bath

How do I clean my Body Plane?

Use gentle soap and water to rinse off the tool and then dry it immediately after. This will keep the silver and wood in tip-top shape.

Colloidal silver is naturally antibacterial, but you still want to remove the post-plane debris.
