Are we alone in our Woo hoo! It’s summer / Oh crap! It’s summer mood swings? We didn’t think so. Suddenly the sun is shining and our favorite summer frocks are calling our name. But we are still wearing winter on our skin.
We’ve developed a few easy bath rituals to get your skin short-skirt ready quickly and, most importantly, naturally.
How to Prep Your Skin for Summer, Naturally
- Hydrate from the inside out, and the outside in
- Exfoliate to reveal fresh, smooth skin
- Restore the skin with organic, plant based oils
- Sweat to purify the pores, the body, and the mind
- Firm the skin with targeted products
You’ve heard it a million times before, but we’re going to tell you again. Hydrated skin starts on the inside so commit to increasing your H20 intake. A mug of hot water with lemon first thing in the morning is known to tighten the skin and a great way to kick off a hydrating day.
For outside-in hydration we suggest a Restorative Body Oil + Body Plane ritual to exfoliate the skin and restore it with rich, nourishing oils like antioxidant powerhouse Wild Carrot Seed, Rosemary for improved smoothness and circulation, and Ylang Ylang from Madagascar to provide skin plumping hydration.
